3-Tier Heated Clothes Airer
The GreatfindsUK 3-Tier Heated Airer delivers 21 metres of drying space across three generous tiers, taking up to 15kg of laundry in a single load — enough for a full family wash, sheets included.
It's the practical alternative to a tumble dryer: running at just 7p an hour against a typical 60p per tumble dryer cycle, it costs a fraction to dry the same load, which adds up fast across a British winter of indoor drying.
Warmth reaches all three tiers evenly, drying clothes gently without the harsh heat of a dryer drum, so fabrics last longer. It arrives ready to use — unfold the frame, plug into any standard socket, and switch on.
When you're done, it folds flat for storage in a cupboard, under a bed, or behind a door, which matters if you don't have a utility room to spare.

7p an hour versus roughly 60p a cycle.
A tumble dryer is fast, but it's the priciest thing plugged in on laundry day. Here's how the two compare, side by side, at current UK electricity prices.
230W draw, left running for a full 6-hour dry. Total for the session: around 42p.
A standard 2–2.5kWh cycle at the Ofgem unit rate. Most loads need at least one full cycle.
Estimates based on a 230W airer and 24.5p/kWh electricity, in line with current Ofgem price cap figures. Your actual cost will depend on your tariff and load size.
Out of the box to first dry load in under five minutes.
Unfold the frame
No tools. The three tiers click into place and the legs splay for a stable base on carpet or hard floor.
Drape the wash
Spread items across the bars with gaps between them so warm air can move freely and dry evenly.
Plug in and walk away
Most loads are dry in 4–6 hours. Fold it flat and tuck it away when you're done.
What people notice first is the electricity bill.
"We're in a top-floor flat with nowhere to hang washing outside. This has genuinely stopped the condensation on our bedroom window."
"Folds down small enough to fit behind the sofa. I was skeptical about the running cost claims but it really is a few pence an hour."
"Takes a full load for our family of four across the three tiers. Wish the top bar was slightly longer for double sheets, but it's a solid buy."
"Arrived well packaged and was drying laundry within ten minutes of opening the box. Wheels would be a nice extra, but no complaints."
Before you buy
How much space does it actually need? +
Unfolded, it's roughly 137cm tall, 75cm wide and 73cm deep — about the same footprint as a small drying rack. It folds flat to around 12cm deep for storage.
Will it trip my electrics or overheat? +
It draws 230W, similar to a couple of light bulbs, and has a thermal cut-off built into the bars. It's designed to be left running unattended for a full drying cycle.
How long does delivery take? +
Orders ship from our UK warehouse and typically arrive within 2–4 working days. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as it dispatches.
What if it's not right for my home? +
You've got 30 days to try it. If it's not for you, contact us for a full refund — you don't need the original packaging.
